Now i myself have been a Garfield fan for years and when i heard about this film i was rather excited and i'm glad to say i wasn't disapointed. I know there are people out there who are rather against CGI films which seem to dominate our cinemas these days but this is a good film as the animation isn't too flashy, it's rather simple but still very high quality. The voices of the characters are well chosen, i personally wasn't a big fan of Bill Murray's Garfield in the recent live action films. Maybe this was because he was too active that he usually is in the old comic strips. But never fear as in this film the "Voice Acting God" Frank Welker takes over and makes the fat cat as loveable as he was back when Lorenzo Music voiced him. The extras on this DVD are also good as they have behind the scenes footage of the animation and voice actors.
So if you want a film that will entertain kids and adults of all ages then this is the film to watch. I'm sure you will enjoy it as much as me.
