I was fortunate to catch this at the Edinburgh Film Festival last year, a late night screening with the director in attendance. Superficially a stoner comedy, it is raised beyond that by a sharp and witty script full of unexpected and frequently bizarre twists, terrific performances and characters who, despite their flaws, it is easy to develop affection for. Despite never securing a major theatrical release, hopefully it will find the audience it deserves on DVD.
