This is a film that is a must for all those who are interested in music. The plot may be a little thin, but the whole atmosphere of the film is contagious. The quick wit of the fab four is matched by the fantastic photography and mastery of filming. Today we take it forgranted that a new song will be accompanied by a video - well respect this film because it, along with "A Hard Day's Night" are without a doubt the foundation of the music videos we know and love today. This film is fun and the music is out of this world. Made in the days of respect for family values this film is a must for all the family and will amaze modern cinema goers at how much enjoyment they will get from it - SO - Buy it! Watch it! Enjoy it! And cherish it!

Yes, I am a die-hard Beatles fan but I think this film is fab. Any fan of the Beatles would love it - the plot is totally mad and hardly watertight but I think its hightly entertaining and its so 'them' - worth it just to see the performances of their great songs too - I especially love the one on the field surrounded by tanks.
Basic plot: Ringo has been sent a ring by a fan but it turns out to be a 'sacrificial' ring and whoever wears it must be sacrificed. So now its Ringo's turn. However, Ringo can't get it off his finger. Mad plots to 'sacrifice' Ringo and various attempts to remove the ring ensue, taking the four from the Bahamas to Buckingham Palace to the Alps.
