This is quite simply the best film I have seen in years. An age old love story done in a completely new way. I was spellbound from the second it started and by the end had ridden a rollercoaster of emotion. I walked from the cinema feeling all fuzzy and warm inside and knew that for the first time in a long time a film had made me feel good. A must see for anyone that still believes in fairy tales and true love. If you have a heart it will make you laugh and cry. A film for all ages. Go and see it and make your day.

This is a great family film. It's a joy to watch, with jokes coming thick and fast, that Kids and adults will enjoy.
There is never a dull moment, from the cartoon first 10 minutes to the wise cracking live action. It's the live action part of the movie when the story really comes alive. The film is fresh and very funny with brilliant characters. But the real star is Amy Adams as the would- be princess, she really does leave you enchanted with her innocent performance. Patick Dempsy is good as her love interest, if at times comes across a little dull. Susan Sarandon is great as the evil queen, but is slightly under used. Timathy Spall is also very good entertainment as the misguided servant. The film out-shines most of the fantasy films of the year, and it's the none stop barrage of in-jokes and sly winks at the early Disney animated films that get the most laughs. Also the effects are very good. The film is pure family entertainment, This is what Shrek 3 and The Golden Compass should have been, but were everything but.
I urge you to take the kids to see this film, as they will love it, and the adults should enjoy just as much.
Classic family entertainment!

I wasnt too sure what to expect when i went to see this, i didnt know whether it was going to be aimed at kids or adults but there is a lot that both kids and adults can enjoy. Amy Adams does very well in the princess role and makes it an enjoyable film throughout with plenty of laugh out loud moments which both poke fun at animated Disney films as well as embracing them. I guarantee you will have a huge smile on your face, as its impossible not to love all the characters on show. A great soundtrack too.

  Brilliant

When i saw Enchanted advertise, it was obviously going to be for kids with princesses and princes, but this was way more babyish than my whole family thought it would be!!! I understand why some people like this film, but it's just not my cup of tea. When it was advertised i thought it would be funny, but i found hardly anything humerous. Kids from 5-8 years of age will like it especially.

Enchanted is one of the best films i've ever seen, although i think it strange to make a Disney film which in places mocks other Disney films, its still well worth buying.

This film is a great way to spend time with the whole family and I can only recommend you do so as quickly as possible.
Songs are subtle enough that they do not annoy, the cast play their parts with an ease which suggests they had as much fun making the film as we did watching it.
Without giving too much away Giselle is parted from her prince on the morning of her wedding. She ends up in a place with no "happy ending" and has to hope she can be rescued.
To tell anymore would spoil a near-on perfect and return-to-form Disney adventure that needs to be seen. My words alone are not enough. Go see.
