Despite what some people think about this film being too graphic, too risque, too gory - I disagree. Based on the life of female serial killer Aileen Wurnos, Theron won an oscar for this performance - and rightly so! Her acting is outstanding and the directing is perfect. I cannot fault this movie. Even though some scenes may be too graphic for some people, and for those who are easily offended, this is truly one of the best films of our time. Despite Ricci looking a bit too young to play such a mature role as Aileen's lesbian lover, she still pulls off a great performance. The transformation from Hollywood beauty Theron to Aileen is amazing. Watch all the behind the scenes, they are fantastic! A MUST SEE.
