The basic storyline here is that we start off each episode with events that inevitably lead to a murder. When Tru, working for the local morgue, encounters the body, the day rewinds and repeats only for Tru. Tru's task is use what information she can remember from her encounter with the body and the days events to puzzle out what's going on and to change events and hopefully avoid the death. The puzzles are quite well put together and keep you guessing, there are frequent twists. Stories are ok, scripts are fine, directing good, acting as good as we come to expect from Hollywood. I think the real downfall here is that way that the rewinds or visions work, limits each story to exactly the same format each and every time, which gets somewhat dull and predictable very quickly. Also, it's unbelievable that Tru could investigate and solve a murder every time in just one day, especially given the way she just pushes her way in to peoples lives, who would probably just tell her to "go… more »
