I was expecting this film to be amazing. Apart from the stunning colours and visual effects the plot was boring. The Spartans are the toughest, bravest, best warriors in Greece as has been their tradition and reputation for many years. The Persians threat to conquer them so they go after them to fight in battle with only 300 men against their millions. I was bored quite often with this film...some scenes were good...worth a watch but not worth buying.

Very good and easy storyline with great action, worth buying for sure.

This film when i'm honest isn't the greatest film in the world, but before you put all thought's about buying it out of your head read on....

It is a film filled with blood,fate, honour, and true history (mostly)
The film does have good sections and even though the realism is slightly out your see just how good their fighters were and just how out-numbered they were.....
And in the end you really wish that the spartans had won, it would hav made a great end to the film, but by keeping to the history books they do make a very good ending...

I cudn't believe the size of the 6 paks!!!!

I still would recomend it to people and at the price it is you can't really go wrong

Its all a bit too chocked full of special effects for me! I realise thats a good point for alot of people, but I find sometimes it can detract from the story, not here though as I feel the story was poorly exicuted! Really this is a throw-away action movie, and its great in those terms! The action is great and there's lots of cool blood! yummy!

Blimey, Gerard Butler certanly can roar can't he! Seriously though i loved this film and went and bought it on the day of release. Adrenaline-pupming, gorey action, some kind of touching scenes adn 300 fit blokes in hot pants and capes, what more can u want?
Fantastic imagry, looks like a painting. Definately a film fore the boys and girls.

The-must-see-movie. Excellent! Full of fight, passion, fury, anger, devotion, courage. You won't forget it. Amazingly done, fab music, great effects, loads of blood, emotions.

Theres alot of reasons why people may or may not like this film, but considering this entire film was shot on a blue screen, this has to be one of the best cgi'd films to date. Everything from the characters and scenary, to the amazingly graphic and detailed battle sequences makes this film a real triumph.
Having gone into this film with very little knowledge of what the true story behind this film was really about, i wasnt expecting to see so much Brutality and action, and very little history. Dont get me wrong, this film does provides a brief overview of what happened with simplicity, but i dont believe this film was designed with that purpose in mind, instead to make a blood splattering, visually amazing and action packed film with more violence and gore than anyone can ask for.
A fantastic film for any blood thirsty fan out there. A must see!

What a film,i've watched it over and over,the story is what you expect 300 spartans against the persian hordes! and the action does not let you down.The cgi is remarkable,you'll struggle to find a more adrenaline driven movie.
