Highlander one, without a doubt is the best highlander movie ever made, why they made more, i havent got a clue. The stories are pointless, but this one is worse. First of all, its a new cast, which changes alot of things. Secondly the special effects look like they come from the 70s. Finally the story is shockingly awful, and this film is a disgrace to all the highlander movies!

Oh no no no no no no no does not even deserve 1 STAR!

This film has to be by far the worst film ever made. It does not deserve to have the title highlander!. I turned it of after 15mins of agony. Very poor indeed. Very far fetched, parts are poorly animated, very cheesy!! Please just stick to the original 3 and if you stil want more after them (which you will do) watch endgame

At 1.99 i thought regardless of how bad it was i would still consider this a bagain, how wrong i was, what a dire waste of a franchise, made in Nov 2006 not realised until the end of 2007 everyone new they had a dud on there hands so what went wrong? dont waste your time or money on this.

In short I feel i am owed 2 hours of my life by the director of this tripe. Buy this if you a) are of questionable sanity b) liked Highlander 2: the Quickening or c) enjoy hurting yourself!

Yet another possible answer for the immortals.

Like all the sequels to the first highlander movie this offers yet another version of events and another creation myth for the immortals.

It is certainly darker than the originals, but offer a more CGI based file than the others.

Its does draw upon some of the experiences of the previous films and also the series, its keeps the samurai sword, and links to the highlanders lost loves.

Not the best alternative story line for the highlander sequence, but certainly worth seeing if your a true highlander fan.

This film was no way as good as the first. Some of the acting was ok as was some of the music but not the best. Spoilt my idea of being a good film to watch. Buy at your own risk of being disappointed although some may think it a good film.

This Highlander film is very different from the others, as the immortals are no longer fighting for the prize in the gathing, they are now hunting down the secrets of the source. Duncan makes his second debut in the film series and performs fantastically. The style of the film is also very different from the others, for example the quickening is made better with cgi, also the film is very dark and gloomy as if it's the end of the world, which it is. This film i also recommend even though it's probably not the best of the series.

 IT'S A KIND OF TRAGIC!

Why do I subject myself to watching the sequels? It must be because that I live in hope that one day some good will come out of this series of terrible sequels.
If you thought parts 2,3 and 4 were bad in this damned series well you ain't seen nothing yet!
This is a cheap and nasty addition. But what could you expect from the director of The Lawnmower man?
Again as with the rest of the sequels the plot is a total mess and the immortals have to join forces to fight the ultimate evil.
The action is pathetic and the acting is chronic. Even one of the immortals looks uncannily like Rhydian the albino runner up to X-Factor 2007.
Everything about the film is bad.
The only way to breath life into this dead series, would be to remake the great original and start all over again.
Avoid!
