The legend has finally returned to our screen is this feature adventure and its safe to say futurama has not lost its edge! Completley flawless! Although i would prefer another series...

Basically this is what the Simpsons movie should have been. This is not only a completely new story, it's one that feels very well thought out to fit the movie format, as opposed to just being an extended episode, or in the simpson's case re-using old stories/ ideas over and over again. Put it this way, if given a choice i would have seen this in the cinema and put the Simpsons straight to DVD.

As everyone with a shred of intelligence would know, Futurama is a hell of a lot better than the Simpsons. It's even up there with Family Guy. So after all the speculation and rumours of a new series of Futurama it has actually happened. And the result? Well just look at the rating I gave it. I love Futurama to bits so to see it back in business and thriving with modern humour will obviously make me cry with joy however good it is. BUT thats not to say this doesn't stand up as a film on its' own because it really does. There are so many fantastic gags that, though random, will have you crying with laughter. It was the trailer that made me buy it, for it shows some funny parts but it is very out of context. All the best bits are not included. So this manages to keep up such a high standard of comedy quality throughout and thoroughly deserves all the credit it gets. Everyone do the Bender!.
