Or maybe both, if it happens to contain a repulsive, planet-sized monster with romantic intentions! Nothing less than the fate of human and robot-kind is at stake as the Futurama crew takes on...The Beast With A Billion Backs.

Good dialogue, fun cameo from Stephen Hawking (although I never quite see the point as it's not his real voice, does he do the typing?) and Bender's robot army is an entertaining highlight.

Best Futurama Film, Compares To The Best Episodes

I completely disagree with the other reviews here, this film was far better than the previous one. Most of Bender's Big Score was trying too hard, especially at the beginning. Some of the jokes were just painful. This film was great through and through. Unlike the previous film, they didn't feel the need to try to cram every character from the series into the film.

This film really lived up to the series, if you're a fan then it will not disappoint.

Strange..... for some reason, I liked this a lot better than Benders big score (BBS). Looking at the other reviews, most people rate the 2 feature length episodes the other way around. For me, this was back to the Futurama I love, didn't find it too long or fragmented like BBS, and no gripes at the network (MY major gripe about BBS). For me this was a good movie... enjoyed it a lot. 4 not 5 stars as there could have been a few more belly laughs.

 Better than Benders Big Score

Ok so Benders Big Score suffered a bit on the jump to feature length....this one unfortunatley is the same. The plan is to chop the movies up into 30 minute episodes for tv and when watching it you can tell where the cuts between episodes would be. Other than that i really enjoyed it. It's got a lot of laughs and a funny storyline that somewhat reminded me of aqua teen hunger force sort of silliness. Bender and Fry are as usual, on top form. So as i said funnier and generally more supreme than the first but still lacking slightly. Thankfully there's two more on the way and it can only get better.

 Fatnastic!

To be blunt. I love Futurama. It's great and it getting cancelled before it's time was tragic. Now it's back and it's still great. With this latest outing it's in keeping with the slower episodes but it doesn't let you down. Especially impressed with the Steamboat Willy homage and the references to early episodes just to see if you've been paying attention. I don't what to say too much and spoil it for anyone but if you are a fan of the series buy this now.
