Le Chevalier D'Eon: Volume 1 - 3

So I bought this anime knowing nothing about it beyond the rather short description here. But hey I figured it wasn't too much of a risk since it was 3 volumnes for the price of one. Well I wasn't dissapointed! And not just by the great value but also by the anime itself.

The story is great which i wont go into too much detail here, just think 18th Century France with a cool supernatural twist where the main character is trying to investigate the murder of his sister and deal with all the twists and turns that come to light from this.

The animation is great too, really beautiful, and the voice acting (i watched the dub for a change) is done really nicely - can't comment on the subs though.

If you like a good story, nicely paced with a fair amount of action and suspense then I'd highly recommend this anime. It's not just shallow action and has a good plot which is well executed. I pretty much watched all 3 volumnes in one go because I couldn't wait to see what would happen next!

Everyone I've lent it to has loved it too. Let's not consign this great anime to being underrated...
