4 stars, are you kidding?
This is the funniest thing ever created, Family Guy writers are comic genius's and this just proves how funny they really are. The series i absolutely adore, they are incredibly funny and this is just a treat. Absolutely hilarious, if you dont buy, you will regret, this is the funniest thing ever!!! Not even an understatement, it really is.

This is brillant, there's star wars and family guy. They have brought it fever, with all the family guy characters in star wars. It's really funny, some stronge laungege but i like it. There's got to be another one, and i have just heard that there is. A new hpe and the emperia strickes back. Maby they might make the return of the jedi.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Just about worth it for the extras.

Top 10 DVD Reviewer

Essentially an extended episode that follows the story of Star Wars, but then you probably already knew that. Slightly more conventional story-based comedy, with less of those so-so flashbacks parodied so well in South Park. It doesn't quite cram in as many gags as it could, but you can tell they've put some effort into recreating the action scenes, and any Star Wars spoof that can get away with the line "Great kid, don't get penisy." has to be given at least 4/5.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars A true family guy edition to the show, mint.

a real great spoof towards star wars, funny of course, because its family guy.a great watch if ya've got 45 mins spare. great choice of characters, Herbert as Obi-wan was brilliant, he was sooooooo funny. i think it could of been a bit longer as they rapped it up pretty quick. and some bits weren't as good as other bits, but none of the less and great creation.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Nice little homage!!

I bought this purely because my boys keep going on about Family Guy even though I do not let them watch it.
Indeed I have not seen an episode but I do love Star Wars so I was intrigued. It really is a great laugh. Some great detail to the New Hope story with some accurate comic takes on classic scenes. The humour and content does lean towards the 15 cert as expected which is frustrating because I would like my boys to see it but then I accept this is the Family Guy franchise we are dealing with.
This really is a funny film though and I look forward to seeing it again to relive the comic set-ups.As long as you enjoy the film and have a sense of humour you can have a really good laff at this.Just be wary of young eyes though!! - watch first!!.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars A great ermmmmmmmmm 'spoof' of star wars

Crysis2142 | 17/05/2008 | See all Crysis2142's reviews (40) »

I love family guy and this is very funny with the returning jokes from the previous episodes like the wacky inflatable arm flailing tube men and the guy who was gonna 'bone his girlfriend'.

But the the start of the episode is poor compared to the rest. Its only until peter and brian get involved when it truly becomes family guy gold. And having Hebert as Obi Wan is not a very good choice even if it logical. Its still funny witty and utterly takes the pee out of star wars and certain quotes and actions.

The start isnt great but the rest is just brilliant, it becomes a great homage but i just think the £7 price tag is a little steep when you can buy season 6 for £10.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Why so many bad reviews?

I cannot understand all these bad reviews! If you are a fan of family guy or Star Wars, there is just no way you cannot find this funny. Admittedly you have to know A New Hope fairly well to get all the jokes, but with little bits from Airplane and alike thrown in, this is the funniest DVD I have seen in years.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Disappointing...

Being a huge Star Wars and Family guy fan I thought I was in for a real treat with this feature long special, but was disappointed. The usual gags are in there, but could have been made a lot better by not focusing so much on following the original star wars plot and creating new and fresh content with original gags.

Customer rating: 3 out of 5 stars Not really the Griffin Family at their best

I'm big fan of family guy but not of star wars so i didn't think that much to it but it still has that family guy humour so if you really like family guy then you should watch it but if like me and don't really like stars its rental choice.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars a good family guy spoof
