Spooks used to be such a wonderful show, but since series 5 it has become a joke..mainly because of the really bad addition of Ros Myers, her character profile suggests that she is a wonderful agent...this was never show, her Insubordination, cost the team problems (constantly) and she was never repremanded..the whole flavour of the show has fallen short, the writing was even bad. Come series 6, i was being hopeful, hoping that they would have got back to they way they were before..sadly they had got worse..Adam Carter (who is one of the best characters on tv), had been changed and broken, Ros Myers continued to be rude and inappropriate (for no reason, and there was no feminism in it, it was just for the sake of being rude..completely pointless) the writers had also become worse, making the show even more unbelievably predictable and always letting Ros get away with everything. As you can tell, i did not like this series and this show is now a elaborate joke...Adam Carter is a wonderful character but this series has damaged him, and Harry Pearce seems to ignore everything that happens on the grid. last series Ros read Adams personal file, and wasn't told off this series she betrays them, and yet again is let off, If the really MI5 were to watch this series, i am sure that they would be insulted. I can see why Rupert Penry-Jones is leaving..i would too.
