Strange are the ways of love, but stranger are the vicissitudes of life. Aas is the story of such events in the life of Asha, who was always the victim of untold toils, trials and tribulations at the hands of destiny. She comes to serve as a governess to motherless Kishore in the house of Mr Ashok. But the forces of thr heart triumph over those of reason. She gets so strongly attached to the child that Mr Ashok proposes and they are married. Time passes and Asha gives birth to a son. But not everyone is happy with these changes.
