Buffy The Vampire Slayer: Complete DVD Collection

Forget the mythical context and the fact that vampires have now been done to death (no pun intended) on TV and in film Buffy the Vampire Slayer is simply one of the smartest, funniest and most entertaining shows to grace our screens.

The show follows Buffy Summers and her small group of friends as they deal with the everyday problems of teenagers trying to make their way through high school and college whilst also having to constantly save the world from an apocalypse of some sort. As with many of the best shows that deal with the supernatural Buffy the Vampire Slayer never tries to take itself to seriously and the snappy dialogue rivals anything Tarantino has ever penned.

There are of course still moments of brilliant drama and the subtle yet important character development over the course of the shows seven seasons should be an example for others to follow.

Buffy the Vampire Slayer is a truly unique and unmissable show.

my older sister got me into Buffy back when it was on sky one. i was really young then and didn't really know what was going on but still watched it religiously . then my sister got the videos and i just used to nick them and watch them all the time then she moved on to sex and the city and gave me all the videos. i could never wait for the new ones to come out. its such a good show!!!
originally i brought all the dvds separately as the set wasn't out, turns out i actually spent more buying the dvds separately then i did on the full set!!!

the set itself is very cool. the box is nicely presented. my only disappointment is that there is no episode guide or anything which is a shame but if your a massive fan like me you wont have any trouble knowing what episodes are on what discs and of course theres the internet, still would have been nice to have a little guide.

All in all an awesome set to go with an awesome show. no Buffy fan should be without it.

have got to agree with the reviews already differently a must buy its fantastic i have been a fan of buffy as far as i can remember my fav is when willow goes evil due to taras death i am also bout to watch them yet again and ind buffy collection fab well down to cast and crew on a great tv programme i am your biggest fan xxxx

havent been able to turn the dvd player off since i got this box set a must buy if your a buffy fan. only fault is the packaging its boring the old box set was more eye catching. besides that its great

You get seasons 1-7 plus a few little extras and scene selections,cast biographies.
Its really well put together and plays flawlessly.
IF YOU LOVE BUFFY OR VAMPIRES (even if you have never seen this show)THEN YOU HAVE TO BUY THIS!!!!!!!

I bought the originals years ago each set cost me at least £40 some cost more these are such great value you'd be mad to pass up the chance - i love this programme and am into anything mythological so cool!

If you ever want to treat yourself and be in the company of Cult Royalty - then this is definately for you. Buffy the Vampire Slayer in it's entirety is well written, superbly performed and brilliantly directed . It's Cast and Crew indeed every department, is second to none - it's not just a production, it's an event in it's telling and one of the most noteable Brands in television today. A rare find and a welcome gift -

One of my top ten tv shows ever!!

I already have the original individual seasons with the 'book' style packaging but this set is huge value for getting one of the best teen drama series made. Following buffy and her scooby gang in sunnydale as they ward off vampires, demons, monsters and everything that can possibly go 'bump' in the night over seven years!

But it's also a cracking drama series as well, as the relationships between all the characters is prominent. And in this show the characters develop in a lot of unexpected ways over the run, changing them and making us care for them in ways you wouldn't think possible (even the bad guys!). It became a very complex show by the time it ended.

Not to mention the eternal buffy/angel love story!!

Seasons 2 and 7 are my favourites but each season has it's own storyline and often that feeds into the overall mythology. I guarantee when you start watching, you'll go through the entire series before you realise where the months went!

What a fantastic price for hours of fun. My daughter used to love Buffy when she was 3, but had forgotten all about it. Now she gets to watch it all over again and we are once more arguing over who gets to marry Angel. Only trouble is, she's taken to using household impliments as stakes and is highkicking everywhere. Brilliant buy!
