Just seen the film and really enjoyed it. Special effects are up to the same standard. I am not at all dissapointed and look forward to adding the DVD to the collection. Well done JK Rowling and thanks for the magic.

Just seen the movie..
As a huge fan of the books, i was not left dissappointed and liked the fact that the bits that had been removed from the film only the book fans will know about... I dont think any of the films should be identical word for word to the books, that would be doing JK an injustice and taking children away from reading the actual books themselves...

However this film delivers a great visual representation to all book fans and movie fans...

BUY IT!!!!

  A little disappointing

Like other comments above I feel that there have been integral pieces of the book left out, which leaves me a little confused as to how they can wrap it all up in the next two.

There was too much focus on relationships and love, however even these are not explained as fully as the book and may lead to some confusion later on.

As always the film had a good composition, the musical score was effective, the acting was good and the CGI and special effects were top notch.

All in all a good summer movie, but I think the book lovers will feel a little let down by the missing pieces of the story.

  Good Adaptation

All in all not a bad version of the story, there's the usual removal of important bits, swapping around of bits without a real reason, and adding bits that where they may be cool just take up space that important things could use. The character development is very good as is the flow of the movie, my partner who's a fan of the movies loved it, myself who is a fan of the book loved it but had little niggles, but thats all they were little niggles, But it is an all round good movie that had me laughing and crying all the way through. Definitely better than Order of the Phoenix.

Good but not truthful to the book

Like the 3rd installment this film tends to stretch away from the actual book - there are certain parts of the book that are I believe integral to the plot that are missing - there are also additional scenes not from the book that do not really make sense. The annoying character mentioned..is important to the film as it is a main part of the book..

Overall a better film - Jim Broadbent is excellent as is Michael Gambone - even Daniel Radcliffe's acting has improved (not by much though) Rupert Grint once again demonstrates some great character acting...

I was disapointed overall as the MAGIC from the book was missing and the film concentrated to much on the "love" aspect of it.

I hope the fact that the last book is to be split into two films means they can make sure they include ALL areas of the book - parts that are required to explain the story as this in my view failed.

And then there was one boring one...

This movie is more like the film Twilight if you love that which i don't then you will love this film, this was like a breather before the final battle in The Deathly Hallows, this story was more romance and less magic & action. It wasnt 100% rubbish as it did tell you some key points to the other stories just didnt involve enough and i felt i wanted more when the credits rolled onto the screen.

Judge for yourself but don't expect anthing as good as the previous 5.

I went to the premier of this on 4th July and oh my god wasn't it amazing! This film left me with my jaw wide open through out the film which deserves much more than 5 stars. It is much darker and the actors are now young adults whos acting skills have vastly improved. Lots of twists throughout and new characters introduced such as Blaze who's one of Malfoys new friends. Daniel Radcliffe exceeded my expectation and great acting from Helena Bonham Carter shes perfect for the character she plays and Tom Felton (Malfoy) is also given a larger role which portrays his character in both a good and bad light. Have to say there is a really annoying new girl actor in it (you'll spot her straight away) who wasn't needed. This is without a doubt the best film i have sat through this year and i think may be one of the best films ive EVER seen. Would 100% recommend to everyone. Can't wait to watch it again next week! 10/10
