I Think That Series 3 Is Just As Good If Not Better That Series 1&2. With Old Characters Brought Back (The Hitcher,Bob Fossil ect)!! I Think That The Story Lines Are Great. I Enjoyed All The Episodes!! Especially "Party" And "Eels". Also I Think That The Music In All The Episodes Has Been Kept To A High Standard And Really Enjoyed It!!
Mighty Boosh 3 Is Just Plain Awesome!! xDD
Run out of ideas

First of all I think this series is good. I enjoyed watching it and the crimp episode and the crack fox character were quality.
However, it is worse than series one or two. In the earlier series the little arguments between Howard and Vince were great and there were loads of one-liners that would have me in stitches. In this series, there are too many obvious jokes and cliched sayings. Also, I was annoyed by Vince in this series. In series one hes great, a loveable character who is in his own little world. He grows up in series 2 but his self-obsession is cliched in series 3 and he is just annoying. Theres stuff in this series that shows mighty boosh are trying to appeal to people, like the references to klaxons and the horrors and the nme, and the song about drugs.
Im sure that whatever comes out next will be good as I think the hype around the boosh will die down a bit and theyll write some good stuff. One thing that is great in this series is Rich Fulcher who continues to make me laugh with every character he plays, especially Lester Corncrick(?) and the woman in episode 1
The best series yet

After a disappointing second series this is a return to classic boosh. Worth buying for the crimp- off episode alone! You'll be taking retro to its logical conclusion...
best series yet!

i disagree with those that are kicking this new series down..although it is undoubtedly your own opinion.I think series 3 is the funniest yet..i nearly wet myself during 'Party' and every time a scene opens with the head shamens its pure comedy gold. With this series they have even said, they wrote about things that they thought were funny. and so they should. they cant keep writing stuff thats ok for 12 years old to watch. i cant wait for any new stuff, the movie thats been rumoured, a new series and hopefully new dvd of the new live tour..as im too poor to go see it live=(
LONG LIVE THE BOOSH!!
Disappointment

I'm sure Noel and Julian would be glad some fans are proclaiming 3 to be the best, but I'm also sure that they know they didn't really work too hard on this one... and it shows. Lazy writing, uninspired situatuons and forgettable jokes - not what I love the Boosh for - a shame.
Very Disappointed

I loved the Boosh since series one, and series two was by far my favourite. The characters were fantastic and they didn't rely on drug references and obvious humour... which they seem to now. Why are they trying sooo hard to impress the audience they already appeal to? Having said that, they've gone off the boil so much I think the audience they appeal to now are very different to the fan base they originally had. I can't give them less than three stars, cos they're still the Boosh, and the little moments of genius, when they do appear, are still wonderful, but they have definitely fallen from grace. Two years ago if you had asked myself and my friends what our favourite comdey show was, undoubtedly it would have been the Boosh... But now if you were to ask us the answer would probably be Flight of The Conchords, a show I'd recommend for anyone who misses the Boosh who used to be about the funny, not the trendy image.
Why Is Everyone Knocking 'Boosh 3'?

Okay, I agree with some of you that Boosh 3 may not be as strong as the other two seasons but it's still just comic genius. I personally think the first series is the best but I adore the other two aswell.
This series is great for me because Tony Harrison is in it a lot and he's just epic.
And this series is just packed of 'crimping' aswell, which is a major bonus.
The only thing I think I can say that's bad about this series is the same as the last, only 6 episodes rather than 8 but we'll get over it.
The live DVD is just magic aswell so I think you should all watch that too.
Howard and Vince are still on top form and will be for as long as their wonderfully weird double-act continues.
Oh yeah, and the lads have finished writing the script for the movie too :)
Best series yet

In response to some of the other comments regarding the other two series', I completely disagree. Admittedly, I've only become a Boosh fan recently, but I actually watched them from the first season, right through to this one; and I personally think the last is the best.
I think that the jokes are wittier and I can watch this season over and over again.
I also noticed a comment about the moon in an earlier comment; and I think that the moon plays a very important role in the series. It's just hilarious for how stupid and pointless it is. Slightly off topic, but the moon is hysterical in the live DVD.
Anyway, fantastic season, definitely worth getting even if you've not seen The Mighty Boosh prior.
Not as good as the other two series

After much deliberation, I decided to edit the review to make it clearer to some numpties. I LIKE THIS SERIES. However it isn't AS good as the others. The jokes are not as fresh, and it has gone from being quirky, innovative and funny to the characters being more cliched (admittedly of themselves). In other words, THE OTHER TWO ARE BETTER. I would suggest that if you rate this series as the best that you jumped on the bandwagon recently and don't really get it? Just a guess.
I seriously considered giving this 3 stars, but then realised that i was comparing it to the other two series, rather than a DVD on it's own. It isn't as good as the the other two series (probably about 2 stars worse...), but is still good, just not great. Still worth having a look at, just buy the others first.
I was disappointed to see the moon returning, because to be honest, I don't like him/it.
Average imagination compared to Series 2

I was VERY disappointed with this series. My favourite series by far is series 2, as it had so much more imagination and great stories. You just can't get much better than the Old Gregg episode or Milky Joe. Then they did this series, which is full of old ideas or just not very good ones. What happened to the wierd and wonderful creatures? Okay, we get a fox with needles for fingers, but he wasn't funny at all. Then the crab in the last episode, which was just okay. Bringing the polo guy and the jazz guy back showed they were running out of ideas. But what the hell was the birthday party episode about? That one just bored the hell out of me, and didn't seem like typical Boosh at all. The one thing I did like about this series is compared to series 2 it seemed to have more banter between Howard and Vince. But where are all the musical numbers? They seemed to have been ditched. Hopefully the boys will have more imagination for their upcoming movie.
