Some great episodes but overall not as good as the first two series and the songs are weaker than the other series.

Give it a chance, Best Series out of all 3 in my opinion

I went into this series expecting a let down after the media reception dubbed it as such. 'too many returning character, not enough new characters' they said, bah hogswash, does that make it a bad series? No!
Infact, after giving it a chance, I have come to a not-so-slow realisation that this is actually my favourite series of all 3. [with series 2 being the worst of the three].
Depends on what you like, for example, I do not enjoy the songs so much but I do very much enjoy the banter between Vince and Howard as well as the Shaman's; so imagine my surprise when they cut down on the former and added more of the latter!

Five stars, coming at you like a ray, like a beam, Sir!

  Must watch

I loved this series, yes sure I think series 2 was the best but if you are a fan and just fancy a good laugh with a large packet of cheese puffs then this is just the thing.

like others have said, not as good as the first two seasons but still mint compared to most of the other comedy shows out there.

Not as good as the other two series

After much deliberation, i decided to edit the review to make it clearer to some numpties. I like this series. However it isn't as good as the others. The jokes are not as fresh, and it has gone from being quirky, innovative and funny to the characters being more cliched (admittedly of themselves). In other words, the other two are better. I would suggest that if you rate this series as the best that you jumped on the bandwagon recently and don't really get it? Just a guess.

I seriously considered giving this 3 stars, but then realised that i was comparing it to the other two series, rather than a dvd on it's own. It isn't as good as the the other two series (probably about 2 stars worse...), but is still good, just not great. Still worth having a look at, just buy the others first.

I was disappointed to see the moon returning, because to be honest, i don't like him/it.

Waited a while to see if the live show would justify this.

As hardcore Boosh fans will know it has took almost 10 years to get them where they are now, from their first meeting at the Edinburgh festival to their radio show where people first started to take notice and Steve Coogan thought they were worthy of a TV show. The idea was pitched and the Radio show was converted into a TV show... which is a hard task to achieve and many have failed. It was an instant hit despite it's late, LATE time slot and small budget and quirky humor which not everyone could quite grasp. Then after some student shows came the second series two years later with a smaller budget and two more shows and people seriously took notice and the Boosh crew realised their own hype was something they could work off. Especially Noel Fielding. Now no matter how much I might go weak at the knees for him his charming demeanor can be mistaken for arrogance where as Julian Barrett will never be seen in the places Noel is. Off the back of an AMAZING second tour came series 3 with a brand new time slot which had it's own pun or two. It was funny and people started to find the boosh more to their taste and 15 year olds latched on who seen Noel in Heat magazine the week before. Old boosh fans couldn't help but feel that it had been slightly watered down to cater to the new fans and the new time slot, yet still had that typical Boosh style that is so unique yet comedians over the world are starting to see as a cash cow. As are the boosh themselves. What with a festival, headlined by themselves. Rockstars or comedians? As we went to the tour this year we couldn't help feeling let down that you were supposed to be bemused by the expensive props and array of merchandise so you wouldn't notice there was actually no show and that it was just crimps. Now I aint knocking the crimp. I love a crimp. But to sit through two hours of crimping excluding the recycled joke of Howards serious play from the last live act (about a different subject this time of course) can disappoint anyone whilst listening to 15 year old girls shouting 'I love you Vince' and other such comments can try anyones patience. We thought it was just us but as we got the train home we got talking to a large group of people who saw our merch bag and asked what we thought, they told us they had walked out half way through and felt short changed and disappointed and wished they would go back to the days of zooniverse and Brian Ferry and be just like that again. That's when it hit us all, they've became a marketing ploy. Something to buy into. Aslong as you have your old DVDs' you'll be fine but until they get their sense back (cause after all they are making a Boosh movie this year) they will just continue to disappoint their hardcore fans.

  Great DVD LOVE IT!

The mightyboosh just gets weirder but wonderfuler (if that's a word) i love the way in which noel and julian never fail to make people laugh by doing the craziest sketches ever! 4 Stars because i'm afraid 2 will always be my favourite!

May not be quite as good as series one and two in my opinion but thats just because the first two were insane! This is still class and has more of the same crazy story lines!
