For most part the film moves at a good pace but it is the final half an hour that really takes you to the mindset of somebody who is waiting to be hanged. Based loosely on Ruth Ellis, the last lady to be excecuted in this country, Diana Dors gives the performance worthy of an oscar! I really got the feeling I was in the prison cell with her! Give this film a try.
