this a great documentary, with good naration by the great patric stewart it tells u a lot of good info, and all the film is beautiful.
the info in the film about the damage we are doing to our planet in this doc espeaccialy at the end made me cry.
and the dvd is pearfect with excellant sound and picture, the picture must be from a hi-def soure it is so good.
overall a great documentary on a great disc if u like documentarys this is a essential puchase!
This title is so misleading. The DVD should be called, 'Planet Earth, the Best bits'. Its 100% the same footage all contained on the Planet Earth boxset. Its amazing if you have not seen the boxset, or would not be interested in an 8 hour boxset.
Once again, BBC brings us extraordinary footage of life on Earth. I can only recommend this film to anyone.
I have a 1080p TV which has an upscaler for DVDs and watching this in full surround sound is AWESOME. The fact previous people have said that it is a shorter version of the series has now made go out and buy the series.
To give this dvd any less than 5 stars would just be pleading ignorance to the Awsome sights and wildlife this often harsh world has to offer.This is basically the t.v programme that was on bbc one narrated by the Legend David attenborough,This is re-hashed to make a Hour and a half film this time narrated by Patrick stewart"Mr X men,"Its basically the best bits and the best bits are truly Magnificant"Sights such as a Blue whale and its baby and a breathtaking scene with a Great White Shark attacking a Seal Are worthy of any ones Tenner"THERE YOUVE BEEN TOLD,HA,HA!!!!!!
