I have a 1080p TV which has an upscaler for DVDs and watching this in full surround sound is AWESOME. The fact previous people have said that it is a shorter version of the series has now made go out and buy the series.

This title is so misleading. The DVD should be called, 'Planet Earth, the Best bits'. Its 100% the same footage all contained on the Planet Earth boxset. Its amazing if you have not seen the boxset, or would not be interested in an 8 hour boxset.

A good documentary but those of you who have watched BBC Planet Earth may be disappointed by the use of the same footage
