ER season 10 was the beginning of the end. While the season had a lot of highlights to keep you glued to your screen (the helicopter incident and susan taking care of an elderly blind man) this season fell apart in major areas where it could have been avoided.
The big major dissappointment was Elizabeth Corday. Where has our sweet lizzy been all season? The writers really took a step back from her character and she was the one along with carter and Kerry Weaver that still made ER a classic. Her character was completely wasted this season and even episodes such as freefall were Corday should of played a crucial part in treating the patients didn't feature her character at all. A huge dissapointment writers.
Second of all was the killing of Robert Remano. A romantic relationship between him and Elizabeth would have been a blessing this season. And wouldn't it have been wise to kill off Pratt or that annoying Archie.
Speaking of Archie... What a complete annoyance to the cast, both boring and very unlikable character. It still amazes me that he is still in ER as the 14th season continues.
Over-all there are good pointers. Kerry's predicament when her girlfriend Sandy Lopez is killed in a fire and she finds herself fighting for the baby she has brought up with her are very emotional settings. And of course Abby continues to shine and become even more interesting and really holds the show together. The introduction to Neela is a blessing and susan lewis finally finds her feet by meeting Chuck and getting pregnant.
Over-all, the season was a dissapointment but just be thankful that we still have the latter characters to keep us entertained.
Brilliant
