I wouldn't say i'm a massive fan of Top Gear but i did really enjoy the episode where the boys go to America and purchased a car each for a trip across the U.S.
I saw this box set and thought great! i hope it includes that episode where they go to America.I saw that it does,but then had a look at other peoples reviews and it seems the BBC have more or less ruined that episode with editing.This has really annoyed me and i'm sure it's annoyed others.That episode was a cracker and now i might not even bother with this set as that adventure,my favourite adventure has potentially been ruined!!!
I have given the set 4 stars because Top Gear is a great show and Clarkson,Hammond and May are top blokes and great presenters.
I just hope the BBC realise that people are starting to get annoyed with all this editing which is spoiling dvd releases.

Fantastically funny couple of adventures, especially the polar special. A must have for any top gear fan. Short and sweet!

This DVD Set is brilliant and it's great to have these TG DVDs in your collection if you need a bit of your TG Fix now and again. The only problems as other play.com users have said in these reviews are the fact that the BBC Have cut out certain scenes for contract reasons so you may watch this and think "where was the bit when he?". And also as other play.com users have said WHY NO EXTRAS! All i ask for is maybe a few outtakes or a quick behind the scenes, no wonder this is the most pirated TV Show in the world. I Would sugguest buying this DVD But just remember that not everything you saw on the tele might not be on the DVD. That why i'm giving it four stars.
