What began as a construction-paper film short evolved into a veritable pop-culture phenomenon for Trey Parker and Matt Stone's outrageous animated comedy series South Park. Centered around the hilarious misadventures of four potty-mouthed grade-schoolers in the perpetually wintry environs of South Park, Colorado, the series skewers the vagaries of the modern American cultural landscape with politically-incorrect humor and satirical plotlines ranging from homophobia and terrorism to boy bands and talking poo. This collection presents every episode from the series' sixth season, including "Jared has Aides," "Fun with Veal," "Red Hot Catholic Love," "Bebe's Boobs Destroy Society," "The Biggest Douche in the Universe," and more.

Why is England so far behind

Its great to see that southpark seasons are finally being released in England. We had such a long wait between series 4 and 5 and to say that the wait was well over a year a gap of about 3-4months from season 5-6 is very promissing. Maybe by the end of 2007 we will have up to season 11 if that is possible. Ive seen all episodes of south park online and i gota say this is a great season. Especially the episode professor chaos lol. Definately worth £18

 They go so far!

Unlike most cartoon shows, South Park crosses a boarder. Yes, they cross a thin red line in which all humour is forbidden! Topics that would rarely be made into jokes, well the South Park cast turn into a huge episodes with big flashing lights!!!!

South Park once again go into the deep and pull even more relative stuff of todays society and decide to mock it until everyone finds it funny!! I used to be innocent and sweet until i watched South Park and let me tell you... its warped my fragile little mind! But don't worry! Its ace!

South Park season 6 is full of the usual South Park goey goodness! It makes fun of things that are deadly serious and pokes humour at those that are famous! Is there anything better then sitting down to some classic South Park?!?!??! I THINK NOT! ENJOY!

OK, lets face it, most people in the UK do not have multi-region facilities so the fact that they are finally releasing South Park on region 2 (past season 4) is a GOOD thing because there are a lot of South Park Fans in the UK. They released Season 5 a few months back and are now releasing Season 6 (hopefully they'll have released Season 7 by the end of 2008) Considering they're on Season 12 I think they have some catching up to do DVD wise.
Season 6 improves on the breakthrough made in Season 5 where Trey and Matt finally realised just what they were capable of. This season is most notable for building up the character of Butters who has gone on to become one of the best characters on the show. Kenny is dead and so Butters is now essentially the 4th kid as Stan Kyle and Cartman get him to get fat and have home lypo surgery and go on national TV with testicles attached to his chin Butters develops a darker side to his personality and so Professor Chaos is born (fortunately Prof. Chaos' plans arent nearly as diabolicle as a normal arch villian). With Butters out the way the 3 boys look for another "new Kenny" and for some strange reason Tweek has the job but he kind of fades into the backround after a few episodes. This season is also the debut of 2 other wonderfully twisted South Park characters - Lemmiwinks the anal hamster king and Mr Slave, Mr Garrison's teachers assistant.
This season has some of the alltime best South Park episodes ever including The Return Of The Fellowship of the Ring to the Two Towers Video Store in which the boys accidentally wind up with one of the hottest pornos instead of Lord of the Rings and Butters considers it his precious. Another great episode is Free Hat in which our boys take it upon themselves to save Raiders of the Lost Arc from George Lucas and Steven Spielberg and the episode Red Sleigh Down in which Santa gets shot down by Iraqi terrorists and it's up to the boys, Mr Hankey and Jesus to save Santa from his torturers.
This DVD boxset includes Trey and Matt's usual "mini commentaries" where instead of going on for the entire episode they sum things up in about 5 minutes and although short they are sweet and funny and give a good insight into the minds of these 2 men who have created such disturbingly wonderful madness!

Easily the best satire in the world today, AND, eleven year in, it's funnier now than it's ever been.

As long as we can count on the world being as crap as it is, we can count on South Park to show us how.
