In Bruges finds hitmen Ray (Colin Farrell) and Ken (Brendan Gleeson) in the titular Flemish city, following the accidental killing of a young boy. Encountering a strange, darkly comic world of characters, the pair must face both their guilt and their mortality in a life or death struggle.

All you really need to know is that this is a gangster movie, that it tries to be different (although doesn't stray too far from the formula), and that it's very enjoyable and pretty damn funny.
In Bruges is a very enjoyable film with moments of satire that will leave you laughing and cringing at once. Set in Bruges, two hit-men lay low after one of them does a botch job, and whilst in limbo awaiting instruction, they explore the twee cobbled streets and historic sites of Bruges, crossing paths with some extraordinary chartacters. Worth a watch for Ralph Fiennes' character alone, I would recommend seeing this.
This film is quite a strange one. Its comedy in its blackest forms which will not appeal to everyone.
I enjoyed the film but couldn't help but feel a little depressed at times but the film does inject the comedy well and in the right places.
Both Colin and Brendan play their parts very well which is further enhanced by Ralph Finnes hilarious dead pan face when delivering his very funny lines. The sets are nice and the script is well written with its intriging plot and ideas and the black humor is worldclass.
Definately worth a watch.
This is a superb black comedy, with a superb cast Farrell and Gleeson play bickering hit men waiting for the next hit in the beautiful fairytail city of Bruges. The pace of the film is pretty slow, but what makes the film crackle is the amazing chemestry of the two leads, as they bicker like a married couple. The film is full of darkly funny moments that include a racist dwarf, and a half blinded gun dealer. The film is also quite sad, as the leads deal with guilt and the uncompromising ending. Ralf Fiennes is also great has the heavy brought into the game after things don't go to plan, as he spits out blisteringly funny and foul mouthed insults.
The film is a real treat, and anybody who likes dark comedies, with the odd platter of violence should enjoy every minute.
Excellent!
