Modern Toss 2

As a follow up to the superb first series I was looking forward to seeing this. I was a tad disappointed. I mean, it's good but just not the quality of the first series. The new sketches try to be a little too clever or bizarre and just don't work and the great characters from the first series are some what lacking in this one. They've tried to develop some of them into new areas so they don't become stale, which I can understand. But they're just not as funny as they were and I wish they'd stuck to the original formula for those particular characters. It's still a decent series, but just falls off the mark a tad. The dvd is still as top notch as before being well presented and a couple of extras that are decent enough; but I think if I had the choice again I would have just bought the first series and left this one be. You can't go wrong for £3 (at the time of this review) but just don't expect the brilliance of the first series.
