Normally Dr Zeuss Films are really Bad, but when you have voice overs from Jim Carrey , Seth Rogen, Steve Carrell and Johna Hill , it makes a kids film entertaining for everyone.

The animation of the charectors is ace , because the animals act like the personalities of voice cast. E.G. Horton- Jim Carrey lifts his eyebrows and snaps between facial expressions like carrey in real life.

It is a great film for all ages.
best dr zeuss film so far, and much better story than cat in the hat.

This is a terrible movie the story is bad and so is everything else.
It's like the Grinch and cat in the hat which are other terrible Dr. Seuss movies. I will never recommend this movie to anyone.

I really enjoyed this film, it's whimsical approach and Dr. Seuss like designs make this film fun and it is really brought to life by it's bright colours and enjoyable rhymes. Everyone will enjoy this original and charasmatic animation.
I said what I meant and meant what I said, an Elephants faithful 100%.

Top 100 DVD Reviewer

The initial story is that Horton, the elephant, makes contact with a whole 'nother world, which is as small as a spec on a daisy. He is able to hear them because of his large ears, but no one else in the jungle can hear because of their considerably smaller ears.

The whole ordeal is fine at first, but Horton soon finds himself in a sort of strange adventure, which ultimately ends up extremely well for both worlds.

Although there are some corny bits in this movie (mainly the small song and dance thing they do near the end), this movie, with all it's loving rhymes and well developed characters (surprising for an animation), is certain to be enjoyed by all.

However good this film is, this is basically another version on The Grinch, also by Dr. Seuss. The different context, though, is what sets this apart, and I think it deserves to watched.
