I.m glad i.m not the only person who remembers this film. During the 80s this was one of my favourite films and for a while was the only film i watched. The best bit was towards the end when the scientist is taken over by the dark overlord. i remember when you first see what the dark overlord looks like. It was one of the scariest monsters i.ve ever seen at the time of course, anyway at last it is on dvd so i get to see it again as my vhs copy has worn out. This truly is a great film and don,t be put off by the bad reviews because this film is played for laughs and does'nt take itself too seriously.

21 years ago a legendry movie was made, but sadly it vanished and could not be found for many years. Those who rememberd it prayed that one day it would once again re-surface, and on 18th February 2008, the greatest dvd relese in years was unleashed....Howard The Duck! Watch it! Its a classic!

 At last on DVD.

I've been a great fan of this film for years (on vhs) but now on DVD is worth the wait. The film is I think a classic. Yes it is a bit silly, but always makes me laugh and Lea Thompson is wonderful. A must for si fi fans.

Loved it as a kid...appreciated it more as an adult :-)

I cant remember the last time I saw this film but I was very young. I know I enjoyed it as a kid and when I watched this film on DVD I got all the adult jokes and humor that I didnt get when I was younger....anyway I think this film is fantastic and well worth buying it doesnt matter if your 10 or 50 you should still see the fun side to this film...as long as you keep an open mind :-)
