This is an amazing film with a very hard hitting story and rather strange approach to certain teenage issues! AnnaLynne McCord the lead actress is amazing in her role along with a brilliant support cast, the film has a very morbid theme so it wont be for everyone, there is lots of sexual fantasy and death and blood, the whole movie builds up to the shocking finale and leaves you thinking wow, it has a lot of originality and is too much of a gem to pass on, if you want to watch something a bit more worth talking about dont miss this!! The only feature is a commentary but it is worth listening too!

 A Triumph by all concerned

Wow!!! Its been a long time since something this original came along.I bought this having read about it in Fangoria along with the fact that Malcolm Mcdowell was in it(though only in two scenes, with an all round screentime of less than a minute and a half),and have to say it just blew me away. Its starts out like your average outsider schoolgirl not fitting in and having no friends story, then you slowly begin to realise she's neither the victim nor as quiet as first you thought, and brings a lot of the grief she suffers onto herself. The main acctress is brilliant, playing her part to the point where you find yourself Disgusted,Shocked and Pitying her in equal measure,And who'd have guessed that Traci Lord. The 80's ex -porn exploitation queen, would turn into such a great acctress. The best way to sum up this film in my opinion is.Imagine if Kubrick was still alive and he directed Donnie Darko.

 Weird, twisted and special

I watched this film a few days ago and I can't stop thinking about it.
Annalynne McCord is amazing in the lead role and makes you both fear and empathise with Pauline.
This is an incredibly dark film with a very twisted plot and very gory, weird imagery which has given me some very strange dreams since watching it.
If you like generic, multiplex-friendly horror films then this probably isn't for you but if you are looking for something dark and original, please do give this a watch.
