5 First class series, delightfully filmedlongbeech | 07/02/2013 | See all longbeech's reviews (5)I adored Africa, a superb film and narrated by the inimitable Sir David Attenborough! The landscape was depicted marvellously along with all the vast array of wildlife from each of the terrains. Whether the animals in it were as small as Ants or as large as Elephants it was interesting to see how each plays a vital role in keeping Africa as it is.However, what will happen if global warming spoils things as it indeed threatens to was also dealt with, and I'm sure that all conservationists worldwide are daily planning/hoping for new ways to let Africa's amazing wildlife remain as it is now, though without poachers I'd sincerely hope! This is a delightful series with all the beauty and sad events that Africa endures and indeed, are part of it. If you haven't had the privilege of having seen it then I heartily recommend you to buy the DVD. I am pre-ordering a copy now and longing to watch it all over again. The closing scenes of David Attenborough knelt 'talking' to a blind baby Rhinoceros were so beautiful, such delightful moments making the crew tearful were a joy to see. Many thanks to the BBC and the crew for yet another a fantastic series!
