The Farrelly brothers are among the creators of this compendium-style comedy filmed in the style of 1970s sketch films such as 'Kentucky Fried Movie' and 'Groove Tube'. The film comprises over 20 comedy shorts, loosely held together by an over-arching storyline and featuring a star-studded ensemble cast that includes Hugh Jackman, Kate Winslet, Richard Gere, Chloë Moretz, Gerard Butler, Emma Stone, Kristen Bell and Elizabeth Banks.

WHAT A CAST, WHAT A MOVIE!

Movie 43 is a great movie, for starters; a couple of teenagers go on the hunt for the crudest movie on the net, 'Movie 43' on the hunt for Movie 43, they come across many crude and hilarious sketches featuring some very well known actors like Dennis Quaid, Elizabeth Banks, Gerard Butler, Hugh Jackman and many more who I certainly wouldn't imagine acting in such a crude movie like Movie 43. Overall, if you want a movie with plenty of gags and laughs, watch this! But if you are easily offended may I suggest you do not watch!

Star-studded cast in outrageously hilarious sketches!

A star-studded cast is brought together in a series of crude, bizarre and downright hilarious sketches in Movie 43, as a group of teens quest to find the most banned video on the internet. Although intentionally outrageous, Movie 43 isnt just a gross-out shock comedy, as its talent plays out some remarkably cleverly devised jokes. See Hugh Jackmans unfortunate genitalia, watch Richard Gere as a CEO (somehow) maintaining a straight face when presented with a disturbing problem to his lewd product, and Toby Maguire and Emma Stones heated supermarket love exchange.

 ...Sorry what?

Just finished watching this film and every short that came on made me ask why?
The entire film made me snigger just twice (The shorts with Halle Berry and Elizabeth Banks). Other than that I thought the shorts were cringey, immature and just weird.
The main story is brothers trying to find a banned video on a banned video site and each short is supposed to be a banned video, however the videos are not offensive at all, and a couple of them try too hard to be disgusting and offensive, making them look pretty stupid.

Why ANY of these actors/actresses agreed to 'star' in this film I do not know.
If you really want to see this film, wait a month as im sure the price will fall pretty quickly.
