Prepare to go ballistic!
Two military pilots (Travolta and Slater) engage in a no-holds-barred battle against time and each other in a race to recover two stolen nuclear warheads.
When a Stealth Bomber crashes in the Utah desert during a top-secret test run, the military quickly moves in to retrieve its two "broken arrows". But the situation spins wildly out of control after one of the pilots reveals the crash to be part of an incredible nuclear extortion plot...
A supersonic hit from renowned action director John Woo, Broken Arrow is "a breathless non-stop joyride." --Dennis Cunningham, WCBS-TV.

The film is certainly action packed, and provides decent entertainment. John Travolta also makes for an excellent villain. Unfortunately, the film is just too unrealistic for it to be taken seriously. With guns that seem to fire hundreds of rounds before needing the clips changed, to men with bullet wounds being able to fight completely unrestricted, there are just too many issues of reality to make it a truely great film. But thats Hollywood I guess.
Having said that, if you like a good action film then this is certainly worth a watch, as there are plenty of gun fights, fisticuffs and explosions to keep you watching. Its just a shame that the details weren't worried about.

John Woo once again delivers a truly wicked action motion picture. Slater is good but Travolta is class personified. This man really can hold a cigarette. Wow - what a rush!
