On a snowy Christmas Eve in the nation's capital, a team of terrorists has seized a major International Airport, and now holds thousands of holiday travellers hostage. The terrorists, a renegade band of crack military commandos led by a murderous rogue officer (William Sadler), have come to rescue a drug lord from justice. They've prepared for every contingency, except one: John McClane, an off-duty cop seized by a feeling of deadly de-ja-vu.
Bruce Willis returns as the heroic cop who battles not only terrorists, but also an incompetent airport police chief (Dennis Franz), the hard-headed commander (John Amos) of the army's anti-terrorist squad and a deadly winter snowstorm. The runways are littered with death and destruction, and McClane is in a race against time. His wife (Bonnie Bedelia) is trapped on one of the planes circling somewhere overhead, desperately low on fuel.
It's all-out war, a heartstopping, jet-propelled journey through excitement and terror. Fasten your seatbelts!

A dissapointing follow up to the 1988 smash Die Hard, Die Hard 2 did the buisness at the Box-Office but overall makes for a mediocre actioner.
The creators simply transplant the original movie to an airport for this adventure, certainly nothing new in terms of originality is found here. Some of the action scenes stick and Willis really was born to play the part but the film feels to long and lacks the fresh intensity that part one had in such high amounts. Action fans or those who simply like their movie's dumb and forgettable may enjoy Die Hard 2, but everyone else would be better watching part one and moving directly to the superior third film.
As good as the original

The Die Hard films have made Bruce Willis a huge star and its understandable why! The films are just fantasic and this second of the soon to be 4 Die Hard films that are out is in my opinion the best(though yet to watch Die hard 4). Its constant action all the way and does not have computer graphics which look cheap its all stunts, massive explosions and a lot of gun ammo. This is a film that i have watched many times and i never tire of it which must say something good about it! Definitely worth the price
