This film is brilliant, and is essential in any Pink Floyd fan's collection. I owned this film originally on vhs, and decided to update and buy this Deluxe edition and you can really tell the difference. It has all been remastered and the picture is so much clearer and sharper. It contains little to no spoken dialogue apart from Bob Hoskin's (who plays the tour manager) one liner. Instead it is all told through the music of Pink Floyd, with the lyrics revealing the main character Pink's inner thoughts and psyche. I feel I could never tire of watching this film as each time you seem to pick on something new and come up with a slightly different conclusion. On top of that how could you ever tire of Pink Floyd's music?

If you enjoyed this I recommend Pink Floyd Live in Pompeii.

Having seen Pink Floyd perform the concert at Earls Court this is a must have rerecorded in quality 5/1 surround and with Geralds Scarfes films brilliant also watch Roger Waters live in Berlin much better than the dissapointing TV version and also rerecorded in quality 5/1

I'm a massive Floyd fan, and this is a great film with classic visial images, story and music (obviously).
after seeing this you totally understand what's going on in the Wall album, where I was previously wondering what the hell was going on.
