Critically hailed as 'a modern masterpiece' (The Observer) the series is a darkly humorous and often violent look at a New Jersey family, whose patriarch happens to be a mob boss. The pace is fast, the conflict fierce and the humour bitterly dark, The Sopranos takes hold...and doesn't let go.

Episodes comprise:
1. Guy Walks In To A Psychiatrist's Office
2. Do Not Resuscitate
3. Toodle-F***ing-Oo
4. Commedatori
5. Big Girls Don't Cry
6. The Happy Wanderer
7. D-Girl
8. Full Leather Jacket
9. From Here To Eternity
10. Bust-Out
11. House Arrest
12. Knight In White Satin Armour
13. Funhouse

The best American drama series. Period!

The Sopranos is without a doubt the single greatest American TV drama and the Second Series stands up there as one of the very best. Everyone is on top form in this season, the episodes are totally gripping and engrossing, the performances from the main cast, especially James Gandolfini, Edie Falco and Dominic Chianese are nothing short of superb, it also introduces Aida Turturro playing her memorable and crazed character Janice Soprano.

The storylines are also brilliantly multi-layered, complex and utterly involving especially the feud between loose canon mob capo Richie April and Tony Soprano. The music on the show again is first class as the makers of the show always use the music so well it also probably has the best use of a Rolling Stones song (Thru and Thru) ever at the end of the series.

The second season of The Sopranoas is up there with some of the very best TV that has come out of America in the last 10 years and is an absolute must on DVD.

 Continues the trend of excellence

The 2nd season of The Sopranos continues the trend of excellence that started in the 1st season. The storyline continues to be epic with fantastic twists and huge amounts of tension building towards the fantastic closing episodes of the season. Yet again like with the first season, no drawbacks to think of, however I do feel the 1st season edges ahead every so slightly as more superior.

The Sopranos 2nd season is as good as the first. Gandolfini is awesome. The Sopranos keeps getting better and better.
