This is so different to the first film. It is beautifully written, the music is great, the dancing is excellent, and the actors have obvious chemistry. Best film i've seen in a long time. Definately recommended

I really didn't expect this to be a GREAT film, and it isn't but it's got a good storyline and the dances and music are AMAZING. Oh yeah and the guy who plays the lead role is HOT HOT HOT!!!

saw this film advertised in the weekly TV guide and thought id give it a go since i had seen the original many many times over the years....i wasnt expecting much with Havana Nights but was very surrpised....I loved everything about it...the music, the dancing, the location and the story line. even though sequals are never as good as the first ones i think this one is definately the exception.....a definate must see x

not as good as the original but no remake could live upto that. cheesy but strangely addictive.

I wasn't expecting much It doesn't capture your heart like the first one but it was a pretty decent movie. especially as it's set before the original with Patrick Swayze (whom I love and still think is damn handsome) playing Johnny almost 20 years later which is rarely advantageous . I've seen the original many, many times and never tire of it Havana Nights is more of a mid week film watch once, get caught in the music and that's it.

this is really quite good. the dancing is amazing and the plot not that predictable. the actors play these parts really well. definatly worth a watch

I think like most people who are a fan of Dirty Dancing 1 I saw this and thought it'd be rubbish .... but i was surprised!! Still not as good as the original but has some fantastic dancing (latin american) in it, a real heart warming love story, an appearance by Patrick Swayze and a real look into Cuba at the time ... If your a fan of dance and romantic movies i'd definately recommend it!
