An Indian remake of 'French Kiss' with Ajay Devgan and Kajol taking up the roles played by Kevin Kline and Meg Ryan in the original.

All alone in Paris naturally Sanjana's love is focused on the one person she can call her own - her fiance Rahul. To the distress of Sanjana Rahul has to take a business trip to India ; a trip that she cannot make due to her fear of flying. Despite this Sanjana's life appears to be running smoothly, especially as she is about to realize her dream of moving in to her own house. Sanjana's concerns begin to heighten though as Rahul has not contacted her since flying down to India. Four days pass and eventually Rahul calls her, drunk. He informs her that he has met someone else, Nisha, and he has fallen in love with her. He will not be coming back to Paris. Devastated by this revelation Sanjana flies down to India intent on winning him back. On the flight there she meets a charming man Shekhar, unbeknown to her he is a jewel thief who exploits the opportunity of meeting her by smuggling a valuable diamond necklace in her luggage. And so begins Pyaar To Hona Hi Tha. A journey that brings about laughter and tears, adventure and heartbreak, sacrifice and realisation and ultimately love.
