In this final explosive third installment of the Matrix trilogy, the city of Zion, last bastion of the human race, defends itself against the massive invasion of the machines as Neo attempts to fulfill his prophecy as 'The One'. As the Machine Army wages devastation on Zion, its citizens mount an aggressive defense - but can they stave off the relentless swarm of Sentinels long enough for Neo, adrift in a no man's land between the Matrix and the Machine world, to harness the full extent of his powers and end the war?

A Satisfying Conclusion to a great trilogy

This is my least favourite of the three, but i believe it is still a great movie, especially the mind blowing end scene, special effects galore, but this one seems to lack the greatness in story to the first two, but apart from that a great closing chapter.
Perfect finish to the trilogy.

Finishes off the 3 stages of the trilogy: birth(or rebirth you could say), life and death of whats suggested to be the modern day Jesus, in an evolved, digital era. Outstanding installment from the Wachowski Brothers.
A complete disappointment

The supposed end to the Matrix trilogy is a complete disappointment. From the slow start where Neo is trapped in some ridiculous place to the final battle with a multiplied Elrond the story simply doesn't hold. It fails to conclude satisfactorily the many, and sometimes even brilliant, lines generated in the previous instalments. I suggest watching the first two instalments and leave to your imagination the conclusion.
