You've got to watch this movie in the right frame of mind, it was never going to be Citizen Kane. If you're looking for a Hercules in New York kind of film, this is what you want. Cheesy doesn't even begin to describe it. But, like the other guy said, try to catch it on the Sci-Fi channel where they show it quite regularly.

I just watched this film on the sci-fi channel last night, and have just ordered it from Play because I enjoyed the romp and the creature itself.
This film is better than many of the monster movies ive recently seen and its a nice twist on the Nessie legend.
Try and catch it on the sci-fi channel, it should be around for a little while then make up your own mind.

Seriously there are a million better films than this, leave well alone. The effects are some what better than that of Lake Placid 2 but not by much. Also the story lacks substance or the slightest hint of reality thus give it a miss.
