i loved watching this but it is quite depressing some times, less of the feel good factor of the first series which was much lighter.
I am sad to read that the cast will change in the third series as i think it is the energy of the actors that ,makes this all work so well. I thought that the characters had developed in this series not always for the better and in some ways that was a surprise;
You have to see series 1 before this one, other wise you will not have the patience to sympathise with the bad behaviour of some of the characters.All in all if you have seen series 1 and enjoyed it you have to see series 2

God... the skins team dont mess around in this series, They do really search deep into the darkest part of their minds and film it. and it works, although the fact the cast wont be in series 3 (apart from the odd cameo) is quite upsetting. But I like this series just as much as the first

And what I dont agree with is Gedfaz's reviews, telling you what actually happens to one of the skins cast and when, so if you havent seen the series yet and you read his review, its totally spoiled for you now

Great series... great second series...Set up nicely for Effie to take a lead in third series (could not agree LESS with the negative three star poster in here). Brilliantly written, superbly acted by all cast. Emotional sexy and downright addictive... For gods sake woman! (Bekkah or whatever your name is) Chris died in the SECOND TO LAST EPISODE RIGHT AT THE END... these characters wont appear in the next episode apart from..... EFFIE! Therefore requiring and episode of her own (which was great by the way). Very sensitive... very good A***

if your just getting into skins i would def suggest the 1st series..but this...theres like no parties anymore and none of that rebal stuff they did in the first..don't get me wrong there still are some but no way as good..i gave it 4 *'s because it still is good and a great watch..btw last episode is great! but no way as good as it could of been!

In my opinion series 2 is way better than series 1. The storylines are better and the characters are more evolved. Plus there is way more Chris!! They've taken out quite a lot of the parties bt the episodes are darker n much betr for it!!! way, go skins!!! Bt they've axed the entire cast for series 3!!! I am so upset!!!

I though series 2 was great admitidly some of the story lines were a bit far fetched...but I thought that was the whole point of the show, it captures the 'stereotypical teenager' drinking too much, taking things they shouldn't and generally having a good time. I would definately recommend it.

In my opinion, this series was no where near as good as the first series. First of all why the earth did they have to kill of one of the best actors in it, and which I haven't got since the first series, is Effy. She doesn't really seem to fit in. Shes just there. I think it was pretty stupid making a whole episode for her, when Anwar, who derserves to have his own episode could of had one. I must say I did enjoy the episode of Cassie, when they filmed in America. I'm not saying the second series was a total waste of time because there was a a few bits i really did enjoy such as the musical in episode 2. Its just to top it all of there is going to be a total new cast for series 3, i know it won't be the same and everyone it saying theres no point anymore watching it, but we haven't seen it yet, and you never know they could be better and more interesting than the orginal cast. Well im going to order my copy to add to the collection. If this isn't your sort of thing, I would'nt recommend.

started off really well first 4 or so episodes were really funny & cleverly written & directed. then comes along the ridicolous effy episode & it all went down hill from there. ended up not caring for any of the characters by the end, except my favourite who they killed anyway. season 1 was better just because it was fresh & raw, totally different to the usual teen crap we were used to watching. then they tried to hard & ruined it in my opioion (cant spell, oops) doubt season 3 wil be worth watching wit new cast. not worth 3 stars, would give it 2 & half, purely because it became so pretentious & annoying towards the end! quite a shame!

Cant understand why series 2 is getting alot of bad reviews
I think its going up hill, its got abit of a dark side now but more laughs,
getting more into the characters, just hope they can keep most of them for series 3 :D

the whole show is just OTT and alot of the stuff just seems pointless. its okay i guess, rather disapointing considering its massive hype. Also alot of the story lines seem random. at one point a character escapes to new york...its kind of like why did the writes chose this? personally buy something with a little more class. im from bristol, where its filmed, so everyone watches it because they reconise where its filmed. i actually go to the same college mike bailey went too but this doesnt make me like the show any more. 2/5 at best
