When I first heard about 'The 11th Hour', I didn't really take much notice of it. I thought it was just another scam to make celebrities look like they care about our environment, but in the end I decided to buy it. I'm so glad I did. Leonardo DiCaprio delivers an intelligent and thoughtful documentary about the effects we are having on our planet and what we can do to make a huge change.
This documentary is easily as good as Al Gore's fantastic report on Global Warming in 'An Inconvenient Truth: A Global Warning'.
The only thing I didn't like about this documentary is it's length, it's not 92 minutes long, it's 88 minutes long including credits.
DiCaprio is a fine actor and has just made himself even better with this stunning film.
I recommend this film to all, especially secondary school teachers, this film would be an excellent visual medium to show a Geography or PSHE class.

I caught this documentary by chance on Channel 4 - it was "must" viewing for everyone on this planet that can undestand its message. Not only did it shock me with some of the statistics of the effects of what man is doing to our Earth (home) & its enviroment but it also gives us some answers and has an inspirational quality that makes you want to get out of your seat to do something - can't wait to get the DVD and watch it again in more depth.
