i pride myself on my dvd collection, and after reading the book i.am.legend a while ago, i was excited to hear about will smith's version. i bought this and omega man, and i can honestly say - this film is brilliant. Vincent Price is perfect for this role.the only disappointment is the ending, feels a little rushed, other than that-quality!

Firstly, forget any preconceptions you might have about this film if you've already seen Will Smith's 'I am Legend' or Heston's 'The Omega Man'.

I first saw this about five years back as part of a horror films boxset. Based on the novel by Richard Matheson this is a faithful adaption and is a truly dark addition to the post-apocalyptic genre.

Price is perfect for the role of the scientist who has watched his family and the world around him die, and by the end of the film you really do feel for him.
