Review

Here's a documentary that needs absolutely no introduction. Why is America so fat? This is the question that Morgan Spurlock wanted to answer. He set out to interview experts in 20 US cities including Houston, the fattest city in America, whilst at the same time conducting his own personal experiment: eat nothing but McDonalds for 30 days straight.

There were four rules:
1. No options: only eat what was available over the counter (including water!)
2. No 'supersizing', unless offered
3. No excuses: eat every item on the menu at least once
4. No quitting: eat three square meals a day from McDonalds

The results shocked even the doctors who were monitoring his experiment...

The winner of a host of international awards, this unmissable documentary has really got the world talking and the junk food peddlers running scared!

i brought this dvd as i watched it on tv once and thought how could a man do that to himself, mind you i was egging him on as i was watching it hehe. its interesting how bad it effects him, but thats the risk he takes to make the film.

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Best documentary by far!

I really enjoyed this film! It is definately worth watching as it gives a good insight into what we actually eat from Mcdonalds. I never ate in there before but I definately don't now! Not only does it give Mcdonalds what it deserves but it also looks at the other social problems with obesity.
I particularly like when he is showing kids pictures of famous people and they all seem to know the likes of Wendy and Ronald Mcdonald but none of them seems to know who Jesus is. One child guesses that he is George W. Bush. Haha!
Morgan Spurlock is a genius! A must see!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars I am never eating McDonalds again
