Steve Coogan's legendary chat show host and broadcaster finally receives the big screen treatment in this comedy directed by Declan Lowney. Occupying a career stasis-defining role as a mid-morning DJ on North Norfolk Digital Radio, Alan Partridge (Coogan)'s hopes for one last shot at the big time suffer a severe setback when it emerges that his employers have been taken over by a giant media conglomerate. Alan soon finds himself back in the spotlight, however, when newly-sacked fellow DJ Pat Farrell (Colm Meaney) returns to the studio with a shotgun and begins taking hostages. Called in by the police to act as a hostage negotiator, can Britain's most famous Toblerone addict turn the tables and finally save the day?

this film is bloody hilarious its a action comedy spin off of the hit tv series Im Alan partridge. the story is about Alan partridge going to his radio station is now getting a new name called shape instead of Norfolk digital and the radio station want to get rid of one of the staff members witch it introduce a new character named pat farrel played by colm meaney alan talks to the staff of Norfolk digital to say JUST SACK PAT and they agree but pat is very cheesed off because of it so hes comes to the party of the radio stations new name with a double barrel shotgun and keeps the staff hostage and alan has to stop pat before its too late. this film will have u laughing so hard you will hold your sides in pain. dont worry it only has some bloody moments in the shootout scenes but all in all its amazing
