Give evil hell!
In the final days of World War II, the Nazis attempt to use black magic to aid their dying cause. The Allies raid the camp where an occult ceremony is taking place, but not before a demon, Hellboy, has already been conjured. Joining the Allied forces, Hellboy eventually grows to adulthood under the supervision of his adopted 'father' Trevor Bruttenholm, serving the cause of good rather than evil.
When the powerful and evil Nazi figure who unleashed Hellboy suddenly reappears in modern times, he discovers that Hellboy is now working as a paranormal investigator at a secret U.S. government agency dedicated to protecting humanity from the forces of darkness. Now, Hellboy must fight to solve the riddle of his own existence and prevent the destruction of mankind...
Dark Horse Comics' popular cult superhero Hellboy makes the leap from the comic book pages to the big screen with Ron Perlman, the only actor considered charismatic enough to convey the blood-red demon anti-hero, cutting a cigar-chomping dash in the title role as Hellboy, assisted by prosthetics from 6-time Oscar winning makeup artist Rick Baker.

This is up there as one of those hidden gems of the last few years. The movie is visually stunning, and the storyline is a classic good vs evil struggle with the unlikeliest of heroes.
The entire film is laced with wonderful accompanying stories, including the extremely touching relationship between hellboy and liz (genuinely one of the finest on screen couples you will ever see). There is laughter and tears, action and tragedy, hellboy has everything you could want from a film.
Can't recommend highly enough!

I watched this film when it first came out (i was about 8) and went to sleep in the cinema. Then it came on telly and my mum persuaded me to watch it so i did. I'm glad i did as it is a very good film with good cgi and some wise cacking jokes. The story line is good and there isn;t tons but there is quite a bit of action in it like where at the end they smash a hammer on his face. It has a very good story line and is easy to understand although maybe one of the films for older children unlike Spiderman.
I would recommend this for anyone as it is an awesome film
And dont bother saying if you think its a good review or not because its my opinion
Red made this film great

I know i said it was great, but i cant give it a 5 star. Reason being in certain places it is a little slow. Apart from that... Brilliant, it includes fights and a little bit of gore, which is what i like in a film!
