As the follow up to Resident Evil, you would expect a development of style from the first, with a slight hint of directorial maturity. Thankfully this isn't the case as the film is yet another zombie blood and guts fest. Fab.

I read the reviews AFTER watching the film and completely disagree with some.
It was an amazing film which really had a good storyline, i watched this a day after watching the first resident evil and CANNOT wait to get the 3rd Resident Evil throught the post.

I really enjoyed watching the film, especially with Valentine who i must say is smoking HOT.

I have been a follower of the Resident evil series since the original so you can imagine my dissapointment when I saw the first movie..a load of tosh about an evil computer? Still, it could've been worse...then I saw this! Its one redeeming feature is that the Nemisis actually looks like he does in the game.

Thats it..everything about this film is, quite honestly shocking! Every cliche in the book, the stupid characters- yes the oh so funny comic "ghetto guy", the fictional Alice (why?) we even get undt German bad guy ya!

Aside the fact that each character has as much substance to them as a baked apricot we have a nonsensical plot, strung together by random scenes and terrible editing.

If you have any love for films, the series or your brain cells...do NOT go near this!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars Best movie of the trilogy

This is i think the best movie from the trilogy,It stays faithful to the genre and has plenty of guns and big mutant creatures XD however the movie dosn't have a large amount of gameplay incorporated into it so if your a game fan dont expect too much from this .However this movie is the one that relates to the games the most due to Jill Valentine being introduced,I think that Jill should have been the main character as apposed to Alice as alice is not even mentioned in the games however a good zombie movie and the script is of a good standard.

Bought this together with the first Resident Evil DVD because I figured that it would be better to watch the follow-on as they were filmed. If you liked the first title, then this is even better. More short skirts, more blood and at least a million more rounds of ammunition flying about the place

The story kicks off from the Umbrella Corporation reopening the Hive, while Alice is still unconcious in the facility. It explains the ending of the first movie. Now Alice gets a new bunch of friends to play with, and comes face to face with the company's latest project (Nemesis), while the Corp. tries to contain the 'outbreak' in Raccoon City

This is a terrific action film with more, bigger and better effects and everything else. Top stuff, so get a copy if you haven't already

Some reviewers carp on about how it's rubbish because it's nothing like the game. Well maybe it is nothing like the game - but it's a darn good action movie, and I look forward to seeing Alice kicking more Umbrella and zombie butt in the third offering

Customer rating: 5 out of 5 stars Better than the 1st

I definatly enjoyed this film more than the 1st one. Don't get me wrong, the first Resident Evil was great, but i think this one is a bit more tense and i like that its set in the city. Also, the development of the main character is really interesting aswell, so that makes the film better.
If your a fan of Resident Evil and have not yet seen this this film, i strongly suggest you watch this.

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars not as good as the first, but enjoyable

a good sequel to the first resident evil film, but what it lacks in plot,it makes up for in stunts (is that fair?).its funny how people say these films remain true to the game.also, nemesis was great, but sad to see how he soon changed. should be once a bad guy, always a bad guy! the biggest mistake this dvd has, is the 'bloopers' extra.i know this film is a 15, but come on! a bloopers extra? do we want to see the outakes of the actors pulling funny faces, or gurning at the camera,or forgetting their lines? maybe ok for dvds like austin powers etc, but not for this!

Customer rating: 4 out of 5 stars lots of action

lots of action thats what you get. although this movie could not keep up my expections, you will have an entertaining evening. the movie is fast pacedand has a good story but is not as thrilling as the first part. the zombies in this one dont feel as dangerous. but there is nemesis. he is the superevil project, which you get an idea of at the end of the first part. i think you should see the first part before buying this one anyway.

a movie that can be seen a couple of times for it`s stunts and action.
