Before Sunrise: Yesterday strangers, today inseparable soulmates. But separate they must in just a few hours. Jesse and Celine are making every moment count, pouring as much living as they can into the time before sunrise...
From Richard Linklater comes a smartly observed tale of young people at a crossroads. Ethan Hawke and Julie Delpy play twentysomethings who meet on a train in Europe, sense a connection and explore after-hours Vienna together. The people, places and allure of the city become their sudden itineraries. Love is their destination. On the way there's the mutual sharing of hope, jokes, dreams, worry and wonder. It's a day to linger in their memories and a valentine to young love forever.
(1.85:1 widescreen, Dolby Digital 2.0 Surround)
Before Sunset: What if you had a second chance with the one that got away?
Nine years after Jesse and Celine first met; now, they encounter one another on the French leg of Jesse's book tour...
(1.85:1 Anamorphic widescreen, Dolby Digital 5.1 Surround)

What happens when you meet someone you like? You talk to them, and all you want to do is talk to them until you learn everything about them. This is what these movies are about. Real love. Very sweet and very honest, this is what happens in real life. Both movies are basically one long conversation each, mainly about nothing but life, but very nice all the same. I thought the first movie was better than the second, but its a relationship that comes-of-age when you see both. Recommended for realists.
Excellent

This box set is excellent value for money. These 2 films made 9 years apart are examples of why we love cinema.
If you are put off by the thought of them being chick flicks then i have to disapoint you because although being mainly based around romance these 2 films are about the dialogue. The dialogue in each film is superb and riveting from start to finish, it never wavers and keeps you engrosed for the full legnth of the film and the time flies by.
Anyway, 2 excellent peices of cinema which i fully recommend to anyone who loves film.
