These films are sad, but at the same time very heartwarming. As the previous reviewer rightly points out, these films are about the dialogue. Everything about these films is perfect, from the music to the characters to the beautiful setting.

There is a moment at the start of "Before Sunset" where Jesse is doing a press interview for his new book, which is actually about the liaison with Celine 9 years previous, and he looks round and Celine is standing looking at him. Ethan Hawke's acting is superb as he is so convincing when he is put off his stride; you can actually feel his heart lurch in his chest when he sees Celine, the only girl he's truly loved.

I can't recommend this boxset enough. My favourite romantic movies of all time.

What happens when you meet someone you like? You talk to them, and all you want to do is talk to them until you learn everything about them. This is what these movies are about. Real love. Very sweet and very honest, this is what happens in real life. Both movies are basically one long conversation each, mainly about nothing but life, but very nice all the same. I thought the first movie was better than the second, but its a relationship that comes-of-age when you see both. Recommended for realists.

This box set is excellent value for money. These 2 films made 9 years apart are examples of why we love cinema.
If you are put off by the thought of them being chick flicks then i have to disapoint you because although being mainly based around romance these 2 films are about the dialogue. The dialogue in each film is superb and riveting from start to finish, it never wavers and keeps you engrosed for the full legnth of the film and the time flies by.
Anyway, 2 excellent peices of cinema which i fully recommend to anyone who loves film.
