This has to be without doubt the finest bit of film making ever...great script , great acting , great special effects that still hold up well after 22 years and great directing. This film is in my top three all time favourite movies ever

Best Film ever made and a real James Cameron masterpiece

one of the all time greatest sci-fi films ever. one of the even rarer sequels that is possibly better than the first movie. amazing.

the special edition of this film is just fantastic-not that the original cut had any less impact.the extra footage showing the sulaco and its motley crew of gung-ho soldiers is a treat.the longer pace means a more rounded film with characters you care about.the visual fx are superb and the whole package makes this a worthy successor to alien.sigourney weaver is the heart-and soul-of this film and she comes out as a likeable,stubborn,scared but resolute person who is afraid of neither man or beast.a brilliant sequel that can stand on its own as a cracking piece of entertainment.

The second aliens film i have seen and it was great i love it. The first aliens i had seen was rubbish. It was the third one, and didn't think that much off it. But the second one is different. I love it.

Sigourney Weaver reluctantly agreed to return to this sci-fi/horror sequel that really does show how good a storyteller Cameron is. He handels the action better than his predecessor Ridley Scott. Watching the crack-team of commandoes crack under pressure is very entertaining to watch. This comes highly recommended!

First of all i watched "alien"... I thought that it was fantastic, i then watched this film and well i was speachless the build up to the climax of the film was awesome, the fighting scenes were brilliant it isn't as scary as the last one but is definately the best out of all four films. I would also recommend the "Alien Colonial Marines" game coming out soon if you are that big a fan of the franchise!

Must be one of the top five Sci Fi films ever made. Probably the most watchable of all the Alien films. Great list of "A" actors and special effects, which still look really good by todays standards. An 80's rock solid Sci Fi film and at an amazing price.

I actually saw aliens before alien and have to say I prefer it to the original. It has everything you could want - great special effects, loads of action and good perfomances. Id have to say though that the special edition was a let down and a scam. I feel cameron got it just right with the original as there was more tension and i feel that somehow the extra scenes take some of that away. I also feel that releasing the special edition a few months after the original is a rip off as its just another way for the studios to rip movie fans off by expecting them to buy the same movie twice but with a few extra scenes.

Scary, Suspenseful, Action packed, Well acted, cool plot, fantastic actors, immense FX, an just an incredibly crafted film. In space, no one can hear you scream, but in your home, they can hear you gasp in awe at this peice of music history!
