'Johnson Family Vacation' is reminiscent of the National Lampoon 'Vacation' films which introduced Chevy Chase (Fletch) to an international audience. Nate Johnson (Cedric The Entertainer) and his family drive cross-country to the annual family reunion. However, there are some very reluctant passengers... We have Nates wife, Dorothy, who's only going for the kids; D.J. (Bow Wow) their son, a pint-sized rapstar to be; Nikki (Solange Knowles - younger sister of Beyoncé), a prospective lolita ; and their youngest, Destiny, whose imaginary dog causes all manner of mischief. It's going to be a tough journey!

I think this film was fabulous. It looked rubbish and when I acctually watched it I loved it. You should buy it it's really good!

When I saw the trailer for this on another dvd, I thought I have to buy that, it look's great. However I have to say it was a real let down when it arrived, not interesting, far from funny, and you can tell exactly what's going to happen before it does. I would not buy this unless you are a fan of any of the actors...even then I would think twice.
