The Bank Job is a highly-charged heist thriller based upon the infamous 1971 robbery that took place at the Lloyds Bank in Marylebone London.
Starring Jason Stantham as Terry, a car dealer with a dodgy past and Saffron Burrows as Martine, the woman with the plan, The Bank Job interweaves corruption, murder and scandel with 1970's England!
When Martine offers Terry a lead on a foolproof bank hit on London's Baker Street, he recognizes the opportunity of a lifetime! The plan: to target a roomful of safe deposit boxes worth millions in cash and jewelry. However Terry and his crew don't realize the boxes also contain a treasure trove of dirty secrets - secrets that will thrust them into a deadly web of corruption and illicit scandal that spans London's criminal underworld, the highest echelons of the British government, and the Royal Family itself.

dont think because this is based on events that were in the 70s that it is an old and boring story. the story is extremely gripping. the only reason for not getting 5 stars is i felt the start was a little slow but when the scene is set oh my gosh just superb. enjoy.

This film has had the story written to perfection and well thought out it mixes everything you need to have in a film to make it superb and the actors perform brilliantly in there roles, also it is based on a true story.
So if you are looking for a brilliant brutal film then i definatly suggest that you buy the Bank job as it goes down as a classic in my books.
