From Garth Jennings, the director of The Hitchhikers Guide To The Galaxy comes Son Of Rambow a comedy about friendship, faith and the bizarre business of growing up!
Will, (Bill Milner) who isn't allowed to watch TV or go to the movies, expresses himself through his drawings and illustrations until he finds himself caught up in the extraordinary world of Lee Carter (Will Poulter), the school terror and crafter of bizarre home movies.
Carter exposes Will to a pirated copy of the first Rambo film, First Blood, which blows his mind wide open. Against his family's orders, his imaginative little brain begins to flower in the world of filmmaking. Will and Lee become popular at school through their films, but when a French exchange student, Didier Revol, arrives on the scene, their unique friendship and precious film are pushed to the breaking point.

I thought this film was quite good, there is a few flaws in the acting and script but the story was really good, the friendship between the characters and what they hide from each other you can relate with if you ever went to school, quite funny too,
Lovely film

Loved it, great story of 2 kids that form an unlikely friendship during the 80's in the midst of Rambo being released. Their love of the film brings them together in an aim to make thier own version. Its funny and also heart warming, it may take some time to get into it but it's well worth watching. A potential classic.
